Chandrasekhar being a film director and his mother Shoba Chandrasekhar a distinguished playback singer and carnatic vocalist. Despite losing his younger sister Vidhya at an early age, the family’s passion for the arts shaped Vijay’s journey. He attended Fathima School and Balalok School before enrolling in Loyola College, Chennai for Visual Communication studies, later dropping out to pursue acting full-time.
